How long is each session?
Each session lasts between 60 min depending on your fitness level and progress in the program.
How many sessions do I need to attend?
It is generally recommended that a person attend up to 3 sessions per week for the most health benefits. In general, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab attendance lasts 12 weeks (36 sessions); however, the number of sessions depends on a variety of factors including your cardiologist’s recommendation, your risk factors, previous experience with exercise, severity of your heart disease, as well as your progress in the program.
Will my insurance cover the costs?
Most insurance companies cover at least a portion of the costs, and many cover the entire program. Our Benefits specialist and staff will verify the coverage limitations with your insurance provider prior to your first session.
What happens if I miss one of my sessions?
While missing a session may slow your progress in achieving your goals, it does not affect your standing in our program; the session missed is added at the end of your sessions to ensure you get the benefit of all 36 sessions.
How do I enroll in Cardiac Rehabilitation?
A physician referral is required to begin any Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehab program and should be written by your Cardiologist or Pulmonologist; however, we accept referrals from your primary care Physician. After we receive your referral and verify your insurance coverage, an initial intake will be scheduled in order to learn more about you, assess your current functional status, and set your goals for success in our program.
Where should I park?
Free parking is available in the parking lot in front of cardiac rehab and professional building. Handicap parking is assigned to the (2) front rows.
